Intensive Approach for Marriage Conflicts




Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy is a short-term physiotherapy approach working for distressed couples.  This approach consists of various elements like experiential, person-centered, constructivist and many more for manipulating.  This therapy works on the simple principle that the people must before arrive at a place before they leave it. 90% of improvement is seen in the distressed couple’s life.
Steps involved in EFCT:
1.       EFCT identifies the negative cycle for the couple and uses attachment perspective.
2.       Access underlying attachment issues.
3.       Reframes the problem into cycle of attachment need and fear. In this stage, the couple no longer feels that they are the victim of it instead they would be against of it.
4.         Access embedded needs, fears, and models of self.
5.       Promote acceptance by the other- expanding the scenario.
6.       Structure emotional engagement – expressing attachment needs and wants.
7.       New position in the cycle- performs new stories.
8.       New solutions to the sensible issues.
